CSP Box
Watertight box for remote piloting
A long-standing product in the TRIMEC range, the CSP is a die-cast aluminium pilot holder box used for the remote control of integrated pneumatic valves, both conventional and piston valves.
Initially conceived in combination with the low-pressure piston valve, it can also be interfaced with conventional diaphragm valves for the remote control of integrated, screw-in or quick-connect valves.
It is an intelligent system for cleaning bags or cartridges with low air consumption.
The CSP box allows the housing a maximum of 12 pilots, with an IP65 degree of protection.
It is also available with Atex 22 3GD certification and it is possible to insert a heating resistor for correct operation down to temperatures of-40°C.

Operation and applications
They are usually mounted and wired to the tanks via a rilsan tube, can drive up to 12 valves and is used in areas where the weather is more aggressive or in particularly dusty areas such as deserts. Both the base and the lid of the box are made of die-cast aluminium and are suitably anodised to provide effective protection against the weather.
Operation is carried out within a pressure range of 2 to 8 bar and the standard temperature range is-20/+70°C. The voltages available for operation are: 24VDC, 24/115/230VAC. The box must then be connected to an economiser or PLC to allow the filter elements to be washed. It can be supplied complete with a heating device for low-temperature zones or for high-humidity zones by reducing the minimum operating temperature to-40°C.
Energy efficiency
Low pressure piston valves and diaphragm valves can be controlled, thereby reducing air consumption.

Ex and CE standard certifications are available for the CSP control unit model.

The data sheet for the box lists the spare parts required to ensure that the CSP is always operating at maximum efficiency.
Accessories
For the CSP, optional accessories include:
- Addition of heater with thermostat for application at temperatures of-40 °C
- Exhaust silencers to reduce actuation noise
- Bracket kit to position the CSP on board the filter
