The range of double effect diaphragm valves designed by Trimec includes the DE208 model. They are ideal for all those who prefer the membrane option.
The product features a 1”1/2 screw connection with a double outlet with integrated 1” pass-through, ensuring thorough cleaning of 2 rows of filter elements at the same time. This product provides the customer with significant savings on energy consumption and on the running and maintenance costs of the system.
The Double Effect Valve (DE) is a 1”1/2 single-stage screw-in valve with double outlet intended for medium to small filters. Installation is usually on 6” and 8” tanks and the operating range is 2 to 8 bar. Operation and applications
The DE208 Valve is a 1”1/2 single-stage screw-in valve with double outlet intended for medium to small filters.
Installation is usually on 6” and 8” tanks and the operating range is 2 to 8 bar.
This valve has 2 special features:
- The valve has a double air outlet, a unique feature that allows two rows of bags to be cleaned simultaneously. The outlet pipes are equipped with an integrated 1” pass-through for direct connection to the washing ramp
- The pitch of the 2 outlet pipes can be varied in a range from 170 to 210 mm to suit various types of filters and bags
The valve and actuation pipes are made entirely of aluminium alloy, thereby preventing corrosion problems.
Energy efficiency
The possibility of cleaning 2 rows of bags at the same time results in a considerable reduction in costs, as the total number of valves to be installed is halved, the control units will have half as many valves to control and consequently lower costs, and the number of wires will also be halved.
The number of valve actuations will be halved, resulting in significant compressed air energy savings and lower operating costs.
