Low-pressure piston valves
The Sonic Piston Valve is the product that best represents TRIMEC’s technology.
Its use ensures exceptional high-performance and quick cleaning of filter elements in air filtration systems. The valve operates at low pressure (max 2-3 bar) and uses a direct airflow path that generates a sonic wave that cleans the filter bag uniformly along its entire length. This results in high pressure peaks with significantly reduced air consumption.
Thanks to this cutting-edge technology, TRIMEC’s SPV valves allow cleaning of filter bags up to 12 meters in length.

Sonic Wave
A carefully designed piston operating mechanism generates a sonic wave during the pulse phase.
This wave allows for complete cleaning of the entire filter bag surface, reducing stress on the filtering fabric, prolonging the bag’s lifespan (less maintenance) while keeping air consumption low (since it operates under 4 bars).

The filter element (bag) is cleaned using a high-speed sonic wave, achieving superior cleaning performance and high-pressure peaks, all while reducing air consumption and ensuring both effectiveness and efficiency.
Thanks to this technology, the TRIMEC piston valve enables the cleaning of filter bags up to 12 m in length, providing 40% more filtering surface area compared to traditional diaphragm valves.
