The Sonic Piston Valve is the product that best represents the TRIMEC technology.
Designed for high-performance cleaning of filter elements, the valve operates at low pressure (2–3 bar max) and features a direct airflow path that generates a sonic wave. This wave uniformly cleans the entire length of the filter bag. High peak pressures are achieved with significantly reduced air consumption. The result is a highly efficient and effective improvement of filtration systems, making them innovative and sustainable.
Thanks to this cutting-edge technology, Trimec SPV valves can effectively clean filters up to 12 meters in length, enabling up to 40% more filtering surface area.
Our line of low-pressure SPV valves ranges from 2” to 3”1/2.
Valve selection is defined in the initial design phase by our team based on the number and size of filter elements that each valve must effectively clean.

Operation and applications
Low pressure operation from 2 to 4 bar with superior performance compared to traditional cleaning systems for applications in various industries including cement, steel, glass and waste treatment.
The piston valve allows to generate a high-speed sonic wave, which enables complete cleaning of the filter element thanks to the high-pressure peaks generated by this type of valve.
Low-pressure operation also increases the life of the filter elements, as well as allowing considerable energy savings compared to conventional diaphragm valves.
Possibility of online and offline washing without the need for performance-enhancing accessories (nozzles or venturi devices)
